Melania the movie?

Gotta love the first Metacritic user reviews:

1) "A heart wrenching documentary about a trophy wife and her journey to the White House. After first meeting her husband, Donald Trump, on Jeffery Epstein's Lolita Express, Melania went on to become the worst first lady is US history."

2) "**** this ignorant ****, her ****, pedophile husband, and that sellout Jeff Bezos"

3) "she’s a skank, married to a demented, incompetent **** wannabe. she lacks style and grace. she has a giant autistic son who is also a white supremacist."

4) "uplifting stor about a hooker who sold her soul and body to be able to wear designer clothes. Girl power!Shows you what can happen if you dream big and get bribed byJeffBezos."

5) "A rare glimpse into the life of Melania Trump.”Unfortunately not rare enough"

Metacritic's user score is 0.4 - Overwhelming Dislike

Sounds like a call to arms for our Super Ignored Trolls on this board.

All politics and joking aside, it just looks incredibly boring. There are tons of terrible, boring things on Netflix and this movie looks more like one of those than something released in a theater.

I thought the documentary was going to be a retrospective of her life, but the descriptions sound like it just follows Melania around for a relatively short period of time.

Does it include the demolition of the WH East Wing? That part might at least be interesting.

Only this morning I learned about the director Brett Ratner. Wow. Sounds like they picked the perfect guy. Credibly accused of sex pestering, buddies with Russell Simmons, connected to Epstein, and was Bibi’s special guest on a UN trip.

This movie sounds like the opposite of a Dos Equis ad in that it features the most uninteresting woman in the world.

I predict its first weekend will land between $5-10 million. That's pretty good for a documentary. However, its day-to-day and week-to-week numbers, as well as its repeat viewings, will likely be horrendous. "Melania" won't be a "Fahrenheit 9/11" (or any other Michael Moore documentary, for that matter) at the box office. Unlike "Sound of Freedom", I don't think MAGA fans will be able to shine this turd for the general public consumption. If this movie makes it to $15-20 million total, I'll be shocked. Again, for a doc, that's pretty good. But by industry standards, $20 million for a $75 million investment will place "Melania" on plenty of worst movie lists at the end of the year.
