Man, if we could have just gotten even one of those OOC games that we led late against Kansas, Michigan State, or Florida, we might already be solidly in the field. Team is playing so much better over the last 3-4 weeks.

We do seem to be playing better...but I'm curious how much of this is the lower level of competition vis-a-vis actual improvement.

I don’t understand why we moved *down* in the Bracketology projections. We were the Next Team Out and Wake Forest was the Last Team In earlier this week, and then Wake suffered a Q3 home loss to Virginia and UNC won at Q2 Florida State. Now we are behind Georgia in the “First Four Out” category?
It’s more that others are moving up. They are putting together quality q1 wins, which is why UNC has to beat Duke to have a real chance of getting in.

Yeah that’s a great point. I had forgotten UGa beat UF. We definitely need to get that signature win in the Smith Center next Saturday night or we may have to be playing on Saturday in the ACCT.

Basket hasn't changed. Look at the shooting %, especially threes. AS Roy always said, everything looks better when the ball starts going through the hoop.

The basket hasn't, but the offense has. We're now getting the right folks shots in the right places...stuff like getting the VAL the ball in the post in position to score and getting Ian and even Withers open looks from 3 (rather than Drake or Cadeau) in rhythm. Some of this is simply shot-making, but part of the shot-making is that we're having the right players taking the right shots more often. The question, though, is that because we really did something great or because the teams we're playing just aren't quite as good at taking away what we want to do?

Kinda feel bad for Miami. You can tell they have been over with this season for awhile now lol.

So my radio/tv sync went awry and I’m listening to the tv — wtf is wrong with these announcers?

Inane is the word that comes first to mind.

A little of both.

I think we're still getting a lot of the same shots but we're taking them with a lot less hesitation and that's inside play as well.

Yeah, that's why, except for outlier situations with unethical behavior or immediate health problems, I'm not for making coaching decisions mid-season. Once you say that it's over, the team often just goes through the motions until the end of the year.
