nevertheless, a strong pick up despite Mingo's lack of explosiveness. I don't really mind that if you are smart. See Boozer - he's a below the rim guy who excels at the elbow jumper and drawing fouls.

what HD needs is to finish strong with Keita and Muurinen and then we can say he rolled.

Not sure i trust that link, it seems to be numbers not ability. Example there are two teams just in front of us with 2 4 star and 1 3 star. Is that really better than 2 5 star?

Recruiting rankings have always struggled to balance quantity vs quality (much more in football than in basketball, but it applies to basketball, as well).

I think that they'd largely struck a good balance in the pre-transfer portal era when HS recruiting was the main way to get talent into the program. Now that the transfer portal exists and is at least the equal of HS recruiting to acquire talent, I'm not sure the balance holds from before.
