I think I might have been a Dodger fan back in the day, when they were in Brooklyn - with Jackie Robinson and that bunch. Before I was born of course. I think I would have liked them better than the Yankees that’s for sure. But since I was born, and the Braves came to my father’s hometown of Atlanta, I was raised to be a Braves fan… and the hated Dodgers were already in LA. And for whatever reason, MLB put Atlanta in the WEST division with the Dodgers and Giants, etc…. And of course the Braves sucked and the Dodgers were always winning the West. But Cincy and the big red machine took care of them. And Pittsburgh as well. And of course the Athletics won a ton from the AL… so the Dodgers weren’t racking up too many WS ‘ships back then. But ever since that time, the Tommy LaSorda days, Fernando Valenzuela-Steve Garvey days… I’ve always had a deep dislike for them. And still do. The fact that Freddie went to them was just a reason to dislike Freddie - which is really hard to do because, well… he’s Freddie. But now that they’ve “bought” Ohtani and all the rest - Magic Johnson with his gazillion dollar$ and the L.A. machinations… I hate them even more. All that said… had they been playing the Damn Yankees, I would have been rooting for LA! Hahaha!

And both the catcher and the pitcher are much more likeable than the actor - at least since "the slap".
Man, talk about tarnishing one's rather stellar legacy with one brain-fart of a moment... Will Smith the actor ruined his career.
Interestingly, the name "Will Smith" may now be more connected to baseball championships than with movies.
