or she might be the next Liz Cheney and attack dog... and can do it better from a national stage.

I'm not saying this lady is smart but she's playing the Trump game and if we're paying attention she's planned this to make a stand... and I think the timing now(epsein) his ideal for her.

Oh and she'll make a whole lot more money...
If she wants a future political career (there have been rumors about her wanting to run for governor of Georgia) I don't think this move is going to help her any. If her goal is to move to a sweet-paying easy gig as a talking head on CNN or Fox then it does make some sense, although it's still unexpected given her previous behavior and statements until a couple of months ago. At any rate having MTG turn on Trump and quit politics is not something that I had on my bingo card when this year started.

“I watched many of my Republican colleagues go from making fun of Trump, making fun of how he talks…to when he won the primary in 2024, they all started kissing his ass,” MTG told 60 Minutes.

Given that she has been one of main instigators of all this rhetoric, I'd say it's FAFO time for her. And I'd love to see the percentage of death threats she's gotten from "the Left" as opposed to the ones that she's gotten from the right since falling out with Dear Leader, and the types of threats she's gotten from both sides. My guess is that she's getting a real education in who's been the real culprits in the toxic political culture that we have today, and it's not liberals or "the Left".

As for her other claims, I seriously doubt that she's really leaving politics for good, although I will say that pissing off MAGA doesn't seem like a good plan for a political future for a Georgia Republican. As some others have suggested she'll probably turn up on Fox or OAN or Newsmax or someplace where she can stay in the right-wing attention span and make a much larger salary than she could as a member of Congress.
