MTG Catch-All | Trump excommunicates MTG

I must say that of all the crazy and improbable things that have happened so far in Trump 2.0, MTG turning on Trump and actually talking sense and speaking truth to power in many of her statements was not on my bingo card. I don't trust her at all, she's still saying some nutty stuff, and she could return to the cult at any moment, but as long as she's annoying the hell out of Trump & his minions I'm all for it. For the moment at least she's become a kind of GOP version of Fetterman or Sinema.

I definitely don't trust her and probably never will, but i support some of the things she's currently saying and pointing out.

She is following her political instincts... tea leaves, in her case. In MTG's case, I suspect she is correct. Folks in those southern hills are going to have an intense aversion to just the mention of pedophilia .

Most of them simply can't get away from the grift, it's just too easy to grift from MAGAs. It's the same with most of these Religious Right televangelist megachurch types, they never really change or see the light. It's like Jim Bakker being utterly publicly humiliated in the 80s with the very publicized downfall of his religious empire, going to prison for five years, and then returning right back to the grift when he got out. The dude's in his 80s now and still runs a charlatan ministry where he predicts the end times are coming any day, promotes unproven supplements and sells survivalist crap to his always-gullible flock.
