Mustard

Great question !

When I'm wearing my tan suit I like to put Dijon mustard on my hamburgers

When I'm eating a hot dog or two with tater tots yellow mustard is my go to with ketchup on the side to dip with my tater tots

I rarely use brown or honey mustard unless we have run out of Dijon or yellow mustard

Hell, My SiL likes a filet butterflied and cooked well done. Personally, I consider that an atrocity (at least it wasn't a ribeye) if a chef will cook it, I'll watch her eat, I don't care because I don't have to. Active MYOB for everybody.
I'm usually for MYOB, but that's a damn war crime.

Has anyone informed The Hague of her crimes?

Every mustard is great. All have their moments. Probably like hofstaders sweet/hot the best or Kosciusko.

I literally have the urge to strangle a fool if they put ketchup on a hot dog instead of mustard.
I put both mustard and ketchup on hot dogs, with chopped onion.

I make about a gallon of slurry every week, it's basically a gruel of water, mustard, eastern NC BBQ sauces, turmeric, curcumin, bone broth protein and black pepper. Then I load it up with chia and flax seeds and let it cure/expand. Generally take a few swallows in the morning and the evening. Nice and savory...
Wait, this sounded good as a base or a rub used in other dishes, but the last statement....

You eat this straight? You don't cook it at all?

As a condiment, I probably put honey mustard on more things than other kids of mustard. It can make a great spread on a sandwich or a great dip for fried foods.

Yellow mustard is great for hot dogs.

Brown mustard is great when you want a little zip added to your sandwich, hot dog, etc.

Dijon makes a great ingredient in many things.

Honey mustard for chicken tenders.

Yellow on hamburgers with ketchup and mayo. That's the only thing I put ketchup on. I use ranch for dipping fries

Yellow on hot dogs with chili, onions and slaw.

Brown on brats with relish.

Dijon is good on those ham and swiss sliders on Hawaiian rolls.
