why the hell are so many FGs getting blocked all of a sudden? rules change, or complete fluke?

He’s been playing well. Holding the ball a bit too long but he’s their leading rusher today and constantly under pressure.

Caleb Williams wasn’t sacked today and just standing back and slinging it. Pats have to give Drake better protection and run the ball better. He’s going to be good.

A lot of long FGs are more susceptible to being blocked and teams are trying longer FGs these days.

Also, just a lot of randomness.
 
Mahomes is pretty much the whole KC offense now. They really were not as good last season as they were the two seasons before when they won the back to back Super Bowls. They won a lot of close games they easily could have lost, and the offense was not as dominant as it had been. This season has been worse. Kelce really hasn't done anything so far, either.
 
Chiefs have a great QB and a bad team around him, and Giants have a bad QB with a good team around him.

Heard them talking about this last night on FNIA. As kickers attempt FGs from longer distances, the trajectory to make it far enough is lower than for shorter FGs which then makes them easier to block.
 
Maye and the Pats are trucking the Panthers in the first half. Maybe the Panthers will end up moving and I can pick another team to pull for, like the Pats and the Bills.
