I think this move is a smart one. He doesn't fire the unqualified puppy killer from DHS. He is just moving her to Envoy of the Shield to Protect the Americas for which she is far more qualified and media will forget all about her.

OTOH, I'm not sure his choice to replace her will help Trump. He is just as incompetent and will not look as sexy on television.

I think the bigger concern is citizens being shot in the face and back.
