Wouldn't he just send it to the same account he uses to buy their votes?
You raise a good point that I have not considered. After paying the protesters, how much will he be willing shell out to buy votes in the mid term elections ?

I was sent a briefcase filled with Benjamins.

I was passing out 5 Benjamins to each person wearing the Soros marker or giving the secret signal. I still have $1.5 million for future protests or elections.

To think that in 2020, I was just getting $1,000 for each time I voted. If you work hard you can move up in Soros Inc.

Tripping that guy was wrong. Someone took his glasses right off his face early in the video. I’m good with both the Grayson Allen imitator and the glasses thief being arrested.
100%. The tripper deserves highest level misdemeanor assault charges. I wonder if the following days reveal a tbi.

Assuming “no king” style protests continue and grow, anyone doubt Trump will utilize his various thug element supporters to incite violence? Next massive protest may not be a joyful carnival. We have heard of firemen who start fires for the excitement of putting them out. Trump is that insane.

Don't comply in advance.

Your precise point was made about the last No KIngs Day which turned out to be a "joyful carnival". I swear sometimes we are our own worse enemies.

Listen, our grandfathers and great grandfathers spent years overseas enduring privations we today can't imagine with many of them killed or maimed for their efforts to fight for OTHER PEOPLE"S DEMOCRACY.

Don't tell me you won't skip brunch one Saturday a month to hang out with like minded individuals and fight the good fight, in the fight for OUR DEMOCRACY HERE AT HOME.

Don't invent problems. When problems come to us, we'll deal with them with courage and conviction, but right now the worst harm your going to suffer at a protest is missing out on sprawling on the couch eating chips and watching college football.

First up, you listen. I remember WW2 and had brothers and cousins in the war. Lost an uncle in WW and a younger cousin in Vietnam War. I spent 4 years in Army with a short tour in Vietnam prior to ‘64 escalation . I know of the sacrifices.

As to Kings Day protests… I love ‘em. If I were younger I would be there. What I’m saying in my OP is is that Trump administration WILL attempt to turn “joyful carnivals” into ugly happenings. Put it on your calendar.

My point is we'll deal with those ugly happenings with courage and conviction if and when they happen. Doom casting is not helpful at this time.

What's the point of your warning? If it's to steel people's courage, I'm of the opinion that this type of warning does a lousy job at that, and for the most part, it just scares away people from peacefully protesting at a moment in time when it is 100% safe to do so.

What are you trying to accomplish, and how does it advance our cause?

“Thanks for your attention to this important matter”. 73

I don’t think Billie’s post is either to encourage or dissuade people from protesting. I think it is simply a comment about what Trump will do. I respectfully believe you are reading more into the original comment than was meant.

Billie, correct me if I’m wrong.

Yeah, we're all on the same side here, and I apologize if I'm coming off wrong.

I am certainly not questioning anyone's intentions. Only asking that we take the time to consider the effects of making these kinds of statements, and whether or not the effects of these types of statements are productive or counterproductive to the cause we all share.

The single greatest enemy we face is despair, apathy, and disillusionment. We stand together, we win 100% of the time. People start feeling hopeless and decide to "sit this one out" and we've lost. 100%.

I'm basically begging everyone here to not buy into the "it's hopeless" vibe, that's precisely what they want, and have been working a decade or more to literally social engineer into existence. Don't let them win that battle (and please don't help them win that battle by doing their work for them). That's my ask.
