Graham has succumbed to the Trump turd mind virus.
Graham "succumbed" a long time ago - since 2017. I think he knows better and knows exactly what Trump is like, but like so many of his GOP congressional peers he is gutless, has no spine, and is perfectly willing to suck up to Dear Leader if it will make up for his rare bouts of (very) mild criticism on an issue. He's a weasel of the highest (or lowest) order. And of course no Trumper would ever pass up a chance to troll the libs, which this most certainly is.

Even with all of that in mind, this particular tweet is absurd.

I can't imagine being a writer for The Onion these days and trying to create stories that are somehow even more absurd than real life.
I saw the great UNC alum, Lewis Black, in Memorial Hall Tuesday night. He alluded to your point complaining that he could no longer make jokes mocking the inanities of today's politics because the punch lines paled in comparison to real life political inanity.

So he spent a few minutes just reading actual news bits to make his point:eek:

Will Rogers used to do that during the Depression. He'd read the papers on stage and add editorial comment. He might well have been the most popular man in America .
