Post how much you paid for eggs today

What do you expect it would actually cost to produce 2 dozen eggs a week at home? Chickens, food, cages, shovels, food and water pans and some consideration for the time involved. Bet that trend won't take off like a rocket.

I was at an Aldi's yesterday and they were limiting people to two cartons of eggs per person. And even there they were expensive. I remember when Trumpers would slap "I did that!" stickers with Biden's face on gas pumps, I wish liberals could do that with Trump stickers on egg cartons and other foods. Besides supermarkets not allowing it, of course Trumpers would scream and whine and cry about how mean and awful it was, even though they had no problems doing it with Biden.

Plus, zoning restrictions prevent such an activity in most towns and cities.

Eh. Seems predictable to me. There were always already plenty of posts about Trump and Conservatives and not (m)any conservatives on that board.
 
On a related subject, gas seems to have jumped up $0.30/gal recently. Was that supposed to happen?

I'm sorry if I'm not remembering correctly, but I thought you posted you used to be a republican and now you're a dem.

The main issue I have with these boards is when people don't question both candidate/parties. #bosides was use to squash evaluating both sides and encourge people to adopt a trump=bad and not trump=good mentality, which while partly true, it discourages people from saying are these policies really the best thing for the country. Is Biden really the best candidate in the party or is he just not-Trump.

When someone doesn't like either candidate and just says it, it didn't seem to fit over there.

Anticipation of 10% tariffs on oil from Canada + some signs of the Chinese economy recovering a bit. There is also usually a price blip as refineries dot the annual change to summer gas refining.

Mostly because no one gives a shit about you having a non opinion. You've announced that you have politically neutered yourself. That makes you irrelevant to the conversation.

I hear ya, brother. For the record, I've never been a Democrat, though I certainly do vote with/for them now without hesitation. I see where you're coming from, though, about discerning whether policies are good versus bad based on partisan leaning instead of on merit. That's a fair point.

Well no. The gas companies are supposed to drill until a barrel of oil is $0.02. They will have to pay us to take their gas. :cool:

Ah, but like so many things there are more than one variable.

I did notice prices in NC and SC were 20 to 30 cents cheaper per gallon.

I'll admit that I voted against trump and not for Biden. But looking back i believe Biden did the best best he could for the economy and had it going the right direction. I liked several of his initiatives and policies. Yes he was slow on the border and some other policies, but no President is perfect and achieves everything he goes after.

Most of us also wanted Menendez kissed out as soon as his activities became known.

But I did like Harris. I believe they truly cared about the working people and equality.

There were a good number of posters on the old ZZLP (and now here) who will tell people that they never voted for Trump and don't support him, yet these same people supported about 99% of what he did and never applied the same standards to conservatives that they did to liberals. They spent 95% of their time attacking liberals and almost never did the same with conservatives. It was thus very hard to take these people seriously, believe that they really didn't support Trump, or ultimately see them as anything other than trolls and not serious posters.
