Morrisville man arrested after fatal shooting at shopping center near massive fire


As if I needed a reason to like Ruckus more than I already do! This reads like a guy about to go on a mass shooting spree, sets apartment on fire and then kills a guy before he's subdued by employees of Ruckus. I'm in that area all the time, crazy.

Looks like separate incidents, which is crazy given how quiet of an area this is. They both happened basically across the street from each other.

Either one on its own would likely be the biggest news story for the year in Morrisville.

My stepfather's brother was a preacher in Carpenter right around 1960 which is the first time I was ever in that area. It was amazing how small all that area was at the time. Those would have been the story of the decade then.

Crazy story but I don't see anything to suggest that it was part of an attempted mass shooting.

I don't think the apartment fire is related. Those apartments burn every 10 years or so. They are sprinklered but an exterior fire can run up the siding and get into the attic where there are no sprinklers.
