Does the Golden Rule demand that we treat evangelicals as second class citizens and slowly whittle away their rights? What does "Do unto others..." imply?

The Golden Rule is treat others as you wish to be treated. I don’t think that would mean treat others as they treat others.

By honesty, I don’t think the Golden Rule is the best rule to live by. A better rule is treat others as they wish to be treated.

The literal New Testament golden rule based on the words Jesus actually spoke in the Bible is, as far as I can tell, “Treat people in out-groups just as you would treat the people in your in-group.

This is precisely where all these fake Christians fail.

Oh, you spent a full day lending a hand working on home projects for an elderly widow at your church? Great. But if we’re being real for a moment, so did that guard at Auschwitz. Plainly admirable in isolation. But not sufficient by itself.

The real test you’ll be facing to get into heaven is “How did you treat capital “O” Others?”. That “kindly” Auschwitz guard who helped out the widow is roasting in Hell. Just sayin. 🔥
