I agree. It is very frustrating to see "rubes " vote against their economic interests year after year. And part of me agrees that we should let them suffer the pain in hopes that they will have an epiphany and realize which party is committed to improving the lives of working and middle class folks.Part of me feels let 'we the people' feel the full impact of our current less than a perfect union and it's lack of promotion of the general welfare. Until the scales come off the eyes the billionaires (and newly minted trilionaires) will continue to laugh at how they have gotten the rubes to support them.

That said, I do not want those pour souls to go hungry so I will continue my contributions to our local food bank... but with mixed feelings
