Agree. I would love to keep EST year round, but I'd rather keep springing forward and falling back than keeping DST year round.Thank goodness. The dark mornings in October are BRUTAL to get up for school
I hope it never changes. I don’t know why people get so bent out of shape about it. We change our clocks only twice a year and one of those times we get an extra hour.A year or so ago, I got an email from Jeff Jackson inviting me to comment on any legislative issues that were important to me. I emailed back that I didn't care whether it was year-round Standard Time or DLS Time, I just wanted to get rid of the whole "Spring Forward" and "Fall Back" thing. The email I got back from one of his aides stated that Jeff Jackson agreed with me 100%. And a veto proof majority of both houses of Congress agreed with me 100%. But with all the stunts that the GOP side of Congress was constantly pulling, there was just not enough time when Congress was in session to get anything done on fixing this problem, despite how much of an annoyance it is to the vast majority of Americas.
Yeah I am the same. But I don't know how brightening skies at 4.30 AM would be in JuneAgree. I would love to keep EST year round, but I'd rather keep springing forward and falling back than keeping DST year round.
It would mean my dog would be getting up early! These days I'm getting up between 6:30 and 7 and he drags his sorry ass downstairs to go out around 7:30. I usually get a cup of coffee and play Wordle before my dog gets out of bed this time of year. I reckon that will change tomorrow!Yeah I am the same. But I don't know how brightening skies at 4.30 AM would be in June
If I absolutely had to choose, I would take DST over EST year round. I like having as much daylight as possible when I get off work. But I like having it both ways.Agree. I would love to keep EST year round, but I'd rather keep springing forward and falling back than keeping DST year round.
I'm fine with the twice a year change. I also don't understand why it is such a hardship on everybody. I suppose when you travel for a living and are constantly changing time zones like I did for almost 40 years, a twice yearly one hour time difference is nothing. If I absolutely had to choose, I would take DST over EST year round. One.how many physical clocks, especially ones that you actually rely on with any regularity, do y'all have that you need to change for daylight saving?
