In a post on X, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy said the FDA has cleared vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax for use in "high risk" individuals.

It’s not even pedaling anymore it’s like they’re learning how to ride the bike by someone else holding their handlebars and pushing them down the direction they want them to go. Journalist used to at least think critically and now not so much.

I have been reading a book on Bellevue hospital the last week. We just hit the point in medical history when Dr. Lister gave a three hour speech in Philadelphia about his brand new germ theory and the American doctors all but laughed him off the stage. Will be interesting going back to the times when medicine had no problem with a doctor, who got his title and certification by basically bribing another doctor to take him on as an intern for a 3 week course, would go from the cadaver lab teaching other would be doctors (got to get that bribe money back somehow) and go deliver a baby without washing his hands. If only they had horse dewormer to give the 1/3 of women who died from infections in their reproductive systems...


The lot of you might want to wear masks more often for a while, ain't nobody in your government going to attempt to stop the next plague.
 
This is like that A Few Good Men scene but in a bizzaro world.

But here there is no remotely justifiable reason for any of it. It is just such an odd symbiosis... none, and I mean 0 of 100 of the maga country club dbags I encounter would have had anything positive to say about rfkjr even 2 years ago. And the MAHA people I know that are doing quite well from the "movement" were hard core Obama and know better than to lie down with Trump fleas, but they do.

It's just an cross pollination of politics that I would never have friggin predicted, that's fo sho

If you’ve not yet seen it, the series “The Knick” on HBO is a decent show about early 1900s medicine in the US.

Yup. Already making plans to leave my healthcare side job in the next few weeks. Not dealing with this BS again.
