I know some would argue that slavery was bad, but at least they were given housing and learned useful skills. Unfortunately those slaves will never know the pain of a MAHA mother being forced to vaccinate her little ones, Chadrick and Bechamel, against diseases far less harmful than the vaccines themselves.
LOK. Very good. The names, though, should be cut. They disrupt the flow of your excellent punchline.

Folks ‘round here don’t know me. Gotta lay it on pretty thick so the more reactive posters that are getting ready to hammer that reply button after the first sentence realize what they’re reading

I posted something on this topic a few days ago, but this incredibly stupid and reckless decision by Florida is just more evidence that a large part of Trump 2.0 is the revenge of once-fringe, extremist, wackadoodle conspiracy theorists, cranks, and quacks on mainstream science, medicine, and all those others who dared to reject them over the past sixty or so years. They're in the saddle now, and it's payback and retribution time. Hence the gutting of the CDC and other government medical and scientific research, the attempt to destroy such research at universities around the country, and so on. Forty or fifty years ago these people would have been regarded as nutcases (and rightly so) and would be relegated to the fringes of society publishing barely-read quack journals and conspiracy pamphlets ("PUTTING FLOURIDE IN CITY WATER SYSTEMS IS A COMMIE PLOT!").

Now these people are actually in charge of our healthcare and other important government agencies, and they're trying furiously (and with considerable success) to destroy the careers and lives of credentialed and qualified doctors, scientists, and researchers to make sure that their own crazy-ass theories and ideas become the new "mainstream" thinking. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if RFK, Jr. and HHS starts officially recommending that people take Ivermectin instead of the covid vaccine and Paxlovid. What a time to be alive.

They might well but the chances they cite the same primary "sources" are very high. They play this game a lot where they have 30,000 references to some specious fact they can use to boost their position, all stemming back to one dubious source.

Right out of the Peter Navarro playbook.
