That is a stupid claim. Who answers “no” to are you trustworthy? Truthful people will say yes and liars will lie and say yes. Kennedy is a frequent but terribly unskilled liar who clearly cannot stand to have any of his claims questioned.

Credit where it's due. Cassidy is a Trump stooge on 99% of things. But that was really effective.
OTOH, Kennedy only got appointed because Cassidy decided to back him. I know he can’t go back to change that vote and I am glad Cassidy is pushing Kennedy today, but it would be great if he now demands that this clown resign.

Completely agree. RFK is a humiliation to this nation. Anyone with a modicum of integrity would demand his resignation.

This was also not a surprise. Almost everyone you could have talked to associated with health care, with the cdc, with HHS, with Medicare, would have told you this would be an absolute disaster

I disagree, I believe his claim. But I also believe there’s missing context that explains her answer. Asking her (twice) if she’s a trustworthy person sounds to me as if it came during a heated exchange where her loyalty to his agenda was being questioned, and she readily admitted that no, she was not “trustworthy” in the sense that he could trust her to be his rubber stamp. She drew that line, and the way the exchange was manipulated by him, he took her answer and used it as justification for firing her.

I’ll bet anything that’s how it went down. I don’t think Kennedy maliciously or even consciously lies, I just think his thought patterns are so incredibly warped that he can rationalize his way into or out of most any position he finds himself in, and actually believe every bit of it.

His is a very dangerous kind of mental illness for anyone, much more so a person with that kind of power.

What will demanding a resignation do? RFK won't resign. Are there votes for impeachment? There are not.
Drug companies and other top private Health Care officials (eg insurance Execs) need to persuade Trump to replace Kennedy. He’s mucking up the business model

RFK serves two purposes to this administration.

1. He increased their base with the MAHA folks that incrementally move the needle toward the GOP in toss-up states. As long as he continues to poll positively with people in that narrow window, this administration will have his back.

2. He's another means of sticking it to the entrenched elite, which degrades the ability of their enemies to put forward alternative sources of truth.

As long as he keeps polling well with the MAHA crowd and their base, they'll still back him.

And how are they supposed to do that? Have any companies persuaded Trump to drop the tariffs? He's fucking killing wind power projects that are almost complete, even when everyone is telling him we need all the power we can get.

Maybe they can nominate him for the Nobel Prize every year into the future.
