The committee today recommended that the combination MMRV vaccine not be given until 4 years of age due to the risk of febrile seizures when the MMRV dose is given as the first varicella dose.

Notably they are not recommending changing the actual schedule of vaccination.

The vote on pushing back the hepatitis B vaccine was deferred to tomorrow.
But they also required, by 8-1 vote, that Vaccines for Children provide the MMRV shot.

Because half the committee was appointed this week and they had no idea what they were doing. One member abstained on several votes because they were too confused. It does not appear that the committee understood what it was voting for.
 
Just as an added point of info, we typically don’t give mmrv before 4. we usually give them separate at 12 months and then the combined at 4

I will pay out of pocket for any traditional vaccine schedule for my numerous Grandchildren . I ain't rich-but damn I am richer than about 50% of folks. This is sheeet
