The Chuck Norris jokes (that eventually became Tyler Hansbrough jokes on IC) were a lot of fun.
 
Saw him once walking into a souffle resturant in Houston as I was walking out. He'd just come from some charity event and was wearing a gi. Pretty cool. R.I.P. Chuck.

I’ve met him. He came to my dojo periodically. It was one of his schools back in the day and our master was a student of his and had been in a couple of his movies.
As cool as it was to meet him the thing I remember most was that he was a legitimate student of martial arts. Not just the physical part, but the history of the styles, the developments, and the relationships of various schools. As for the physical part, he was seriously impressive. Easy to dismiss him as just an action star but no joke, he was an elite competitive martial artist.
