Holy shit! Weird timing. Exactly a week ago I shared a scene from Reservoir Dogs (which included Madsen) on a text thread with some friends (the scene was relevant to a conversation we had over dinner that night). And then a couple days ago someone on either this board or IC posted a gif of Michael Madsen dancing from a scene in Reservoir Dogs.

All that said, for some reason, I thought he had already died.

Oh no, that stinks. I really enjoyed him in all of the QT movies he did, plus a number of others. He knew really well how to play a "hard man" while giving the role some depth and quality.

I thought his best movie was Donnie Brasco but his best role was Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs

Damn. He had a bunch of solid roles in a bunch of good movies. In addition to some of the other roles listed, he played Bump Bailey in the Natural, the player who died after crashing through the OF wall.
