RIP Robert Carradine

Statement says he was bipolar. Wonder if it was suicide. That sucks. He was really part of an iconic movie in Revenge of the Nerds.
His family released a statement saying that it was a suicide, and that his struggles with bipolar disorder had something to do with it. I didn't see him in many of his other roles, but I'll always remember him as Lewis Skolnick from Revenge of the Nerds, the hero of bullied underdog outcasts everywhere. He was an 80s icon in that role. RIP.

In one of the things I read, he had stated at some point that his bipolar disorder became much worse after his half-brother David's death. I always thought it was pretty fascinating that he and David and Keith were cast with the Keachs, Quaids, and Guests to play the real life brother sets of the James-Younger gang in The Long Riders

RIP, Skolnik
