Brilliant actor and very deserving of all of the awards and accolades he won in his career. My personal favorite Duvall role was as Gus McCrae in Lonesome Dove, but he was in so many movies I enjoy watching. I read in an article today that he didn't want a formal funeral, so his family urged his fans to honor his memory by “watching a great film, telling a good story around a table with friends, or taking a drive in the countryside to appreciate the world’s beauty.” Not a bad way to remember someone's life, imo. RIP.
