Alt-Country Singer-Songwriter Todd Snider Dies At 59

My son turned me into a fan @10 years ago. I’m going to miss his music and humor. He was no doubt a troubled soul and talented troubadour all at the same time!

The only song I knew by todd Snider was Beer Run - I know recently when Spotify makes an alt country/Americana daylist for me it's included some of his songs - since his passing I've made an effort to listen to more of his songs and ive liked what I've heard - may his memory be a blessing

I'm a big fan and I am so sad to know that he's gone.

His death is a bit odd, but it seems appropriate for him. If he'd have died at 89 from natural causes, it would have felt out of place for him.

I hope he's found the peace in death that he never quite seemed to find in life.
