Former New York City mayor has been hospitalized in "critical but stable" condition, his spokesman said on Sunday.

I mean it’s no surprise but it’s just fascinating to me that he hears the news that Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital, in critical condition, and his first thought is how can I use this as an attack on the Democrats.
Wow, this man takes lying to a new level.
Sociopath.I mean it’s no surprise but it’s just fascinating to me that he hears the news that Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital, in critical condition, and his first thought is how can I use this as an attack on the Democrats.
Trump didn’t just use the story to attack Dems, it was also a vehicle for Trump to make himself the victim.I mean it’s no surprise but it’s just fascinating to me that he hears the news that Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital, in critical condition, and his first thought is how can I use this as an attack on the Democrats.
He's always been rather controversial for some of his anti-crime actions as Mayor of New York, but there's no doubt that after 9/11 he was seen as a hero by many people - TIME magazine named him Man of the Year in 2001 back when that still meant something, and there was discussion of him as a possible future GOP presidential candidate for awhile. I don't think he ever would have won the GOP presidential nomination, but if he had become a Senator or Governor of New York or anything other than a Trump minion he could have eventually retired with his reputation (accurate or not) intact.Rudy... you could have left a dignified legacy for your 9/11 actions. History likely would have been kinder to you than you probably deserved.
But then you had to go bat shit crazy and then get on camera looking to fuck the girl who voiced the dog in Guardians of the Galay 3.
Usually willing to respect the "Reagan rule", and realize this a bit of jumping the gun, but that will be the relevant epitaph of Rudolph
And no well wishes for rudy gagliani.I mean it’s no surprise but it’s just fascinating to me that he hears the news that Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital, in critical condition, and his first thought is how can I use this as an attack on the Democrats.
The fact that there was an adult video store next to the landscaping business made it even funnier. I still remember the owner of the little porn shop standing at the entrance to his store looking on in disbelief at what was happening. That whole event was, as you perfectly described it, unbelievable. The Four Seasons Landscaping story may be the funniest political story of my lifetime, just unbelievable.
I really wish there was video of the landscaping employee taking the reservation for Rudy’s press conference. I’d love to see how that actually transpired and the reactions of employees.
And customers were basically trapped inside because they didn’t want to walk out of a porn store with national media set up right outside the door. The fact that there was an adult video store next to the landscaping business made it even funnier. Bloomberg was pretty great. I don't think he ever would have won the GOP presidential nomination, but if he had become a Senator or Governor of New York or anything other than a Trump minion he could have eventually retired with his reputation (accurate or not) intact.
Instead he became a Trump toady and in the process of serving him totally destroyed all of the goodwill and reputation that he had gained during and right after 9/11. Whenever he passes all anyone will remember is all of the highly embarrassing shit he did in Dear Leader's name - the humiliating Four Seasons press conference disaster, the persistent lying about the "stolen" 2020 election, the ridiculous first term defenses of Trump (remember his claim that "truth really isn't truth"?) and the utterly cringeworthy and humiliating video clip of him in Borat 2 flirting with and clearly hoping to seduce a young actress pretending to be a journalist, and even sticking his hands down his pants while with her. Few men over the past quarter century have more completely and willingly destroyed their reputation and fallen from so high a perch, and all in the name of debasing themselves before Donald Effing Trump.
And yeah, he deserves all the scorn and ridicule he gets - he sold his soul to the devil, so to speak. And like nearly everyone else who has worked for him, Trump dropped him like a hot potato when he became too embarrassing, and in his tweet today announcing that he's in critical condition he spent less time saying that he hopes Rudy pulls through than in talking about himself, as usual. Pitiful, really.
ETA: And the best Mayor of New York, at least from what I've read, was probably Fiorello La Guardia, not Rudy.
