Zelensky is in town today. I am going to alter my plans to avoid going into town. I suspect security will be a nightmare on traffic.


Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney in Halifax today during a stopover before Ukraine’s president heads to the U.S.

News of Zelenskyy's Canadian visit comes after he spoke with Carney by phone Friday. The Prime Minister’s Office released an advisory early Saturday confirming the meeting, scheduled to start around 1 p.m. AT.

St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago is the biggest disgrace the United States has every had in the White House. Maybe the biggest traitor since Benedict Arnold. I am starting to doubt whether the country I grew up in will survive his second term. The only path for survival I see is if the diehard MAGAts have some sort of universal "Road to Damascus" experience that causes the scales to fall from their eyes. I am not optimistic. Vlad "the Ras" Putin is the most evil world leader, who wields power beyond his own borders, since Hitler. Vlad "the Ras" very obviously has something truly awful on St. Donald. And yet, a majority of voters in a majority of the electoral college states simple don't care about any issue other than "owning the libs."
 
So, what are analyst saying is going to happen at this meeting today?
 
Just tuned in and Trump asked the press if they wanted to leave the room and eat some food or would that be considered a bribe and they would be forced to write good stories about him but they’re gonna write bad stories about him and goddamn I hate this guy.

almost as disgraceful are Vets who bought into his scam. He detests us and hasn't tried to hide it, but "owning the libs" overrides their own shame and self interests.
 
If this was 1941, just before WWII and Trump was our President, I just have to wonder if he would be on Winston Churchill's side or that good fellow Hitler?

I don't want to even think how chummy he'd be with Stalin. Then again, if it was June 1941 he might be working to save Stalin from Hitler.
