Some say this guy will be the next President of Ukraine. Its no wonder, he's just brilliant. He recently scammed Russian intelligence out of a half million bounty by planting a story that operatives (working for him) had taken out by drone the head of the brigade made up of Russians fighting for Ukraine. It was complete with fake drone footage taking the guy out. Then he hilariously announced that he welcomed the guy back from the dead after collecting the reward.

Which brings up an interesting question: just how good is the Russian FSB and other intelligence services? They didn't even notice that the drone footage was fake. And recently they can't even fake that Putin's residence was attacked. The evidence they put out just wasn't plausible.

The answer may be that they are corrupt just like the rest of Russia. So its no wonder Putin seems to be miscalculating everything about this war and how to manipulate Trump.

Reporter: Why did you believe Putin in that moment and then go say that about Ukraine?

Trump: Because nobody knew at that moment.

First, how many actual security commitments has Witkoff actually ever seen?

Second, is Ukraine really supposed to rely on the belief that TACO Trump does not back down from his commitments? Trust me, bro? Is that the commitment?

Witkoff wouldn't need to be inventing the strongest security protocols ever seen if his boss hadn't given NATO a giant geopolitical wedgie.

I really hope this happens but it's very, very hard to imagine Russia signing on to something like this.
That's what I'm thinking. At least they didn't include Germany or the Poles but Russia still isn't going to really want significant Western forces next door. Russia might think they are better off winding down to some sort of low-grade border conflict versus signing a peace treaty and having the UK and France right next door.

Then again, maybe they signed it to try to force concessions out of Russia and the eventual peace deal.
