Russia - Ukraine “peace negotiations”

My wife and I were watching the evening news and she observed that St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago was wearing a suit with a single vent in the back and Vlad "the Ras" Putin was wearing a suit with a double vent. She wondered why. I Googled it. The short answer was double vent - European and single vent - American. The more nuanced answer was double vent - for fit, trim men and single vent - for fatties.

If that were true, why has the size of Russia's missile and drone attacks on the people of Ukraine grown by 5x since the inauguration. 🤔

Those are the same old Russian demands. Trump hasn't pushed at all, There was no negotiation, just Trump the lap dog. They are as unrealistic as ever. But I don’t think Trump grasps just how far-fetched these demands are. Putin asked Trump to recognize Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia as part of Russia. Ukraine will say no. And when that happens Trump will go ape shit again. Which is probably why Zelensky is bringing Von der Leyen, Macron, Merz, & Starmer with him to Washington.

I expect this Monday meeting to result in either absolutely nothing, or trump getting his knickers wedged so far into his crack that he publicly allies with Putin and devolves us into a world war with Europe. Macron + the 7'9" Merz + war hardened Zelenskyy have the potential to make Donnie's daddy issues spiral out of control, particularly when they reject Putin's demands, which Trump will publicly parrot. As we know,Trump takes the same position as the last person to whom he spoke, whom he likes, and we know he LOVES "Vladimir".

Yup. I think that after looking like a (borrowing a favorite from magats) beta cuck in front of Putin he’s gonna go full tough guy with Europe tomorrow. Once again instability is injected into the world because of a high school mean girl with daddy issues.
