Beskrestnov, a Ukrainian expert on electronic warfare, said the use of Gerbera drones—which can serve a reconnaissance purpose when outfitted with a camera—suggests Russia was testing NATO’s resolve by forcing Poland and its allies to scramble air defenses, allowing Moscow to assess the speed and efficiency of the response.
Gerbera drones are more vulnerable to spoofing than the explosive Shahed drones that Russia normally uses to strike targets in Ukraine, Beskrestnov said.
But he added that it’s unlikely the drones could have veered far into Polish airspace as a result of Ukrainian spoofing, both because of their sheer number and because their satellite navigation and autonomous inertial systems would have corrected their trajectory once they were pushed off course.
The zone of Ukrainian spoofing usually stretches to around 15 miles, he said. Drone parts have been found more than 100 miles inside Poland. “The distance is too large for Ukrainian spoofing; it’s technically not possible,” he said.…”

Of course Trump will use the outbreak of WWIII in Europe as an excuse to crack down even further on Americans, here on American soil. Interested to see how President Bone Spurs reacts. Will he do a Neville Chamberlain? (He's already doing that gig now); An FDR? A Winston Churchill? A George H.W.? A Mussolini?
Recall the history: there were tons of Americans* who either sided with Hitler and his aggression in the late 1930's and early 1940's or they were sympathetic to his B.S.; or they were antisemitic and saw nothing wrong; or they were vocal about keeping America well out of that War to start with (because "reasons"). Big names like Henry Ford; Charles Lindbergh; NYTimes Journalists. But it's even worse now, because unlike back then, we actually have big names similar to then, but we also have actual POLITICIANS who are either siding with the aggressors or are sympathetic to Putin, or they are against NATO, E.U. and the United Nations, etc.
(* I would have added Fred Trump's name, but he was not conclusively a Hitler sympathizer - although he WAS a KKK sympathizer and attended their rallies in the late 1920's)

There were plenty of politicians back in the 30s who wanted to ally with Hitler, luckily they were in the minority. At this point they control all three branches of government.
