Anyone else excited to watch?

Friday Foursomes
  • 7.10am (Game 1): Bryson DeChambeau & Justin Thomas (USA) vs Jon Rahm & Tyrrell Hatton (EUR)
  • 7.26am (Game 2): Scottie Scheffler & Russell Henley (USA) vs Ludvig Aberg & Matt Fitzpatrick (EUR)
  • 7.42am (Game 3): Collin Morikawa & Harris English (USA) vs Rory McIlroy & Tommy Fleetwood (EUR)
  • 7.58am (Game 4): Xander Schauffele & Patrick Cantlay (USA) vs Robert MacIntyre & Viktor Hovland (EUR)

Heck yes I am excited. I am planning my day tomorrow around viewing.

Match #1 will be epic. I expect a shootout
Match #2 I think Scottie has to have a great Ryder Cup for us to win.
Match #3 This could get out of hand but if English and Morikawa win this would be a serious blow to Europes chances
Match #4 Advantage US? Depends if Hovland is hot or not

I think the trashy degenerates are mostly priced out - tickets are crazy expensive.
Money don't buy class my man, can almost guarantee some absurdly degenerate instances of behavior from the home crowd....

That acknowledged, I still root for the USA, though it pains me to ever be on the side with maga. Can't let them control me tho!

But I think Euro wins it, put $100 on that at +170

Super excited for the Ryder Cup! Bethpage Black offers the perfect challenge for the world’s finest golfers.

Love the rowdy, “Waste Management” crowd for this event as well.

They’ve dumbed down the course. Rough is definitely trimmed down. Word is they’ve been watering fairways and with the rain yesterday, it will be soft. Euros have the approach advantage so i won’t expect many challenging pin placements. All that is fine obviously, just won’t be the challenge you’ve come to expect from Bethpage

Someone (player) said that if it was a regular tournament, that the winning score would be around -18 or -20. Course will definitely play easy, and folks will be making lots of birdies.

Yes. I can't wait. Worry a bit about the fans. Ok. You don't like his pairings. Go on record now on why,. We can see what you know.
HE/collin is a laughable pairing on this course (data golf literally had this the worst possible combo he could make, 132/132)
Nothing wrong with scottie/henley at all. Great pairing and did well at the prez cup.
xander/cantlay is a tried and true pairing- i would have been hesitant to do that since Xander hasn’t played in 5 weeks and was in so so form before that (and just had a kid)
JT in alt shot is a bad choice. Would have much preferred a Bryson/griffin or Bryson/CY especially since CY plays same ball

Cool. Thanks for replay. I was surprised by Collin and English as well. Will see how it unfolds.
