They chided Bob MacIntyre about his appearance.
They chirped when players were about to pull back the club. Then they booed relentlessly when they backed off to reset.
… By late Saturday, the massive grandstand behind the first tee and 18th green had been overtaken by European supporters, dancing and chanting, “Ole! Ole! Ole!” as the players made their way to the final green.
With strength in numbers, one European fan belted out: “You want to get paid for this s--t, Cantlay?”
A few members of the European team snickered. It was finally their turn to fight back.“

U.S. Ryder Cup fans had little to cheer about Saturday at Bethpage, so they jeered to an extreme. The scene got ugly, but the nastiest scene of all was the scoreboard.

Americans are ASSHOLES at Ryder Cup courses.
The American players are 100% Trumplican; the Euro Players are likely 60-80% GOP.
The “fans” at the Ryder Cup in America are definitely 100% Trumplican.
I sometimes wonder why anyone gives a shit who wins the Ryder Cup or similar events such as the America’s Cup.
Again, in the few clips I see of this Ryder Cup, I’m enjoying the classless Americans in the crowd.
When Tiger won at Bethpage Black, were the fans complete assholes? Would most have been from LawnGuylin?
I had to be in Seattle the week of the US Open in 2015…..when Jordan Spieth won at Chambers Bay.
Rental cars were triple to five times the normal rate IF you could find a rental car.
Hotel rooms were off-the-charts.
My point is that the golf fans at Chambers Bay were not from the Seattle-Tacoma area…..they were from ALL OVER.
The Ryder Cup fans at Bethpage Black are not just from LawnGuylin. They’re from ALL OVER.
They’re not assholes because they’re Trumplicans; they’re simply assholes.
Most are white males who can afford to attend the Ryder Cup…..odds are the vast majority of them are Trumplicans.
At Augusta. Yes. Augusta will punt the assholes in a nanosecond.
Anywhere else? Hell no. The Ryder Cup assholes will flock to any course in America.

Everyone knew this crowd would be a problem. If this has been played at vahala or Kiawah, two former venues, there would have been zero pre tournament worries about the crowd. Yes. Plenty of assholes aren't local. My guess is most are. Either way we knew this would happen and it did. I am not all that interested in making a political point. Others seem eager too.

I agree that plenty of the classless fans are local.
Many will also be local the next time it’s played at Kiawah or another “Southern” course.
The American Ryder Cup “fans” are NOT golf fans and they are tacky as hell assholes.
“Southern” fans won’t be more polite than those at Bethpage Black.
Remember, these aren’t golf fans….they aren’t sports fans…..they’re attention whores.
