Y’all politicize everything and make EVERYTHING revolve around Trump. The President showed up to support the team - big deal. Some US golfers support Trump - so what.

It’s normal for Ryder Cup fans to cheer boisterously and loudly for the US with good natured ribbing of the other side. Yesterday’s actions went way beyond that.

It’s not about politics. It’s about NY/NJ/Philly fan culture - which they brag about. Hold this event at Quail Hollow Country Club and you wouldn’t have seen 90% of the lewd and crude behavior you saw yesterday even though the politics of the fans would be similar.

Hat tip — it ain’t us who politicize everything and make everything revolve around Trump. We’re the people who would be happy beyond description if Trump had never been born. We just respond to the insanity that you and your team have thrust upon us.

So he withdrew ? Since the Euros only need 2.5 points, I thought the Euros would wait to see whether he needed to withdraw. I think he was the last to tee off today and the captain had up to 30 minutes before his tee time to have him withdraw. Was their captain worried the may need that half point to retain the cup ?

Now we have to open the envelop to see who Keegan picked to drop out . Hopefully, he picked Harris English who was to play Hovland.

Now if I had been the Euro captain, I would have had Hovland forfeit and give the point to the Americans as a demonstration of class like Seve did when he approached onerous Colin Montgomery on the 18th hole. The Euros had already won the cup, but Colin was the anchor and wanted to make a putt for another half point.

Seve walked up to him pointed at Colin's ball and ordered him to pick up his ball and concede the match.

While I’m sure there are a ton of MAGA in the crowd, almost certainly the majority, the emcee who got fired for starting a fuck you Rory chant is married to Jeff Daniels.
