Please do not besmirch the good name of Abilene, Texas, which is in the Northern District of Texas and home to one of the best Golden Corrals on the I-20 corridor. You are thinking of Amarillo, Texas -- a wasteland of Texas panhandle excess and home to the Big Texan Steak Ranch, where you get your 72 oz steak free if you can eat it in 60 minutes.
Man, Abilene sucks too.

I recall reading stories about Confederate soldiers on the way home would pick the undigested kernels of corn out of the manure of Union cavalry's horses and washing it and grinding it to make corn meal mush. Can you imagine how desperate someone would have to be to wade through that much horseshit for something worthwhile?

Sorry. That's a little beyond my scope. Can you call your grandkids? Maybe they can come over and teach you how to use the computer.
If only their school didn’t try to turn them into girls via surgery and force them to read child pornographic books, maybe they would have been able to stay and perhaps learn how to do it.

I recieved $12 from Equifax. That equates to about $0.0000000000001 per hour for all of the time spent clearing my credit report of fraud due to their poor practices regarding reporting and data protections.

I truly hate equifax.
Give me your name, social, banking and credit card information and I’ll make sure there is no fraud I promise.

Yeah, but thankfully they have a great role model in Trump and the pubs to show them how to be racist and hate everyone who is not a white, heterosexual male, all while being incredibly dumb. And you, if we can ever figure out how to search for your posts.
Pretty sure everyone else was smart enough to figure out the search function.

I'm sure at this point it's easily available on the dark web.

I've been fighting identity theft since 1993. The latest was someone filing my taxes for me a few years ago.

I've went to the point of considering applying for a new SS number, but there are risk there also.

It's an absolutely colossal catastrophe for public schools, which is what the Pubs have been angling for all along.
Dimocrats have largely been in control of the education system for decades. And like most of the large cities in this country under dimocrat rule, it has been run into the ground. Sane parents on both sides of the isle are fed up with the left's bullshit and no longer wish for their kids to be continually bombarded with whatever social war topic the left is waging at the time. I'm a huge fan of public schools, but even in red SC, my kids were coming home telling me things that were being discussed in classes that were inappropriate for school, and many of the teachers were just unqualified and went into teaching because they didn't know what else to do. My oldest finished in public school. My middle left public school after the 11th grade due to school failure, and my youngest went to private school from 9th through 12. The quality of the private school was way better in every way than the public schools and he got a far better education. So every parent deserves the right to determine where and what type of education their kid receives. The fact that the left has ruined public schools doesn't make parents wrong for not wanting to send their kids to failing schools with poor teachers, discipline issues, and full of the left's extra curricular BS.

kids being allowed to be ignorant is arguably why we're here in the first place, no?

the canard of "parents' rights" needs to be nipped in the bud and hard. education is a public good.
People with a mindset like yours are the last thing sane parents want their kids exposed to. I believe the education board rebellion in this country is because people are tired of people like you. So congratulations on making people want to distance themselves from people like you.

Do you comprehend the irony of a post about the quality of education rife with 3rd grade level insults and a less than 3rd grade grasp of spelling?

Nobody is on an island. It's aisle.

It's also shocking that you found unqualified teachers filling roles considering how welcoming you and your ilk likely are to them in teaching your children. I'm shocked that more people don't want to jump into the profession.

I wonder how long the "dimocrats" have controlled the school system in South Carolina that was so bad Calla pulled his kids out of it?

Clearly whatever school system produced his ability to support an argument, even anecdotally, was a total and abject failure.

Or maybe it wasn't the potter, but the clay...

lol at your grammar policing in 2025 with people using portable devices. AP chemistry teacher, 25, in her second year of teaching AP chemistry. First day of class during introductions and syllabus review the teacher brags about how hard the class is and in fact is so hard, not a single student the previous year earned any college credit for her course. By the end of the first semester, 6 of the 9 kids in the class drop it due to her incompetence. Now the remaining 3 have no option but to take another class for the 2nd semester. The idiot teacher was to dumb to know that she should have been evaluated based on how many earned credit, not bragging that none did. She was eventually suspended for inappropriate comments to students, including the use of excessive profanity. She had no business being in the teaching profession. Funny, never had a problem with anything remotely close to that at my youngest's private school.
