Secret Service kills man trying to enter Mar-a-Lago

Messages Reveal Potential Motive Of Armed Man Fatally Shot At Mar-A-Lago

Text messages obtained by TMZ showed that Austin Tucker Martin, the armed man fatally shot by authorities while attempting to enter a secure perimeter at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in West Palm Beach, Florida, was a vocal supporter of Trump who had grown increasingly obsessed with the Jeffrey Epstein files prior to his death.

Martin, 21, of Cameron, North Carolina, sent a text message to a co-worker on February 15, 2026, which stated, "I don't know if you read up on the Epstein Files, but evil is real and unmistakable."

"The best people like you and I can do is use what little influence we have. Tell other people about what you hear about the Epstein files and what the government is doing about it. Raise awareness," he added.

Martin, who worked at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in North Carolina, reportedly became fixated on the Epstein scandal following the latest release of a tranche of files connected with the late convicted pedophile, according to colleagues. The sources said he was deeply disturbed by what he thought was a government cover-up and had often discussed people in power "getting away with it."

Martin was also reported to be outspoken about his Christian faith and conservative political views, having regularly expressed support for Trump, which included telling his colleagues that he believed the president was a strong leader as recently as the end of 2025. Sources with knowledge of the situation described Martin as being well-meaning but increasingly frustrated about politics, specifically the U.S. economy, having often complained about young people needing two jobs or roommates as he reportedly still lived with his parents and unsuccessfully attempted to start a union at work to push for higher wages.

As I said earlier, crazy, not stupid.

I think it is clear the time has come to move past the fallacy pushed by Democrats that the number one threat facing America is white supremacy and focus on the real threat that being the radicalize Democratic party itself. And to see someone above said the right and the president should turn down the rhetoric is laughable. The rhetoric coming from the right pales in comparison from the rhetoric coming from the left.

Couple that rhetoric with a plethora of weak-minded people so willing to suspend rational thought in order to support a party whose policies have become so destructive to this country, in many cases to these levels of extremes, and the threat the left, their supporters, and their policies poses is clear....from open borders, to the war on the police, to their willingness to, at best, ignore massive fraud if not outright participate in it, to their denial of factual biology, to their protection of criminals, and on and on and on.

The Democratic party is lost in the wilderness. And without the protection of the liberal media and the availability of a brainwashed support base, rational thought would correct this situation. Keep thinking that supporting a party who wants to flood the country with illegals because they believe it will help win elections, who oppose any form of security needed to fight voter fraud, who wants to get as many on government assistance as possible because they believe it will lead to captive voting blocs even though we are 38 trillion in debt, who are willing to provide sanctuary to criminals, who makes everything about race while damaging race relations in such a racially diverse country, keep thinking that is going to somehow workout for you in the long run and somehow you will be insulated from the repercussions. I think you are going to in for a rude awakening.

For the sake of the country, and that includes the right, the middle, the left, and even the far left, Republicans need to wake up, forget about all this decorum, and realize what they are now facing in this new Democratic party and the extremes they are willing to go to in order to push their agenda and stay in power. The Democrats already tried to eliminate the filibuster in order to ram through their agenda. Is there any doubt they will try to do it again if they are in position? Do you think Republicans should eliminate it now that the shoe is on the other foot and they are in that position? Should Republicans now be willing to match what Democrats tried and see if they can do what it takes to ram through their agenda?

I don't think you have to worry about that. Republicans are still playing by a set of rules that Democrats have long since abandoned.
This post has become something special on the cringe meter.

Man, when the radical right start to realize they've been duped all these years, they really go off the deep end fast don't they?

A Facebook acquaintance of mine was vocally MAGA but has gone completely unhinged since this stuff hit. It's scary and disgusting and fascinating.

It seems as if this is exactly what happened here. Loyal Trumper realizes he was duped and lost his shit.
If only this kid had the maturity and support he needed in life he could have been an example of deprogramming instead of a tragic case of delusion. Instead he was surrounded by a social and political structure defined by dehumanization.
