What the fuck??? The man who wrote that is the person ultimately responsible for protecting the life and safety of EVERYONE who comes here for the World Cup. I don't know how this can be taken as anything but a threat by the president of the US against another nation's soccer team.

Oh, Trump knows how macroeconomics works. The mafia don says what the numbers will be, the consigliere makes it happen, and the local store owners and drug dealers follow their instructions. The only problem here is Powell, unlike everyone in Trump's actual administration, won't play ball. The hit is coming, assuming Trump can eventually figure out a way to get it done.
