That Trump post actually prompted my Trump loving mother to say - "I'm so sick of Donald Trump that I don't know if I'll ever be on his side again. He's crazier than a damn loon." And she had been adamant that she was done with Trump forever if Iran captured the downed pilot.
Now, I'll give her maybe a week or two before she's right back on the Trump train but I found it interesting that Trump post was the thing that pushed her over the edge. Anytime I say something critical about Trump to her, she always just defends him and tells me "that's just your opinion" or some nonsense like that.

Um, the surrender caucus is in the GOP. Biden was always trying to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression. The GOP's line has been for Ukraine to just surrender part of its country.
