😂 Good thing they didn’t throw any percentages in there.

He makes it sound like he has been taking the CCAT but the animal recognition test and his own stupidity indicates otherwise. A perfect score on the CCAT would be impressive.

Maybe his staff imply to him that’s what he is doing when (or after) a doctor feels a need to check his cognitive ability — in other words, he may not have made up his version so much as repeating the lie he was told about it and now no one who works for him dares correct him?

Considering that the CCAT allows a calculator, I'm pretty sure that's not what he was taking.

Considering it's Donald Trump, I'm pretty sure he's just lying or making it up.

Makes you wonder, what kind of Kompromat does Vlad "the Ras" Putin have on St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago? I await the day when mid-press conference, St. Donald puts his hand to his ear, pauses a beat or two, and then arises to perform, "I'm a little teacup, short and stout. Here is my handle, here is my spout."

Unreal that he keeps bragging about this at length.
I remember taking my Mom to her first appointment with a geriatric General Practitioner; Mom had been seeing the same GP in Hillsborough for 15-20+ years. That GP thought it best that someone who specializes in geriatrics was the way to go.

This was about the beginning of me attending all of Mom’s medical appointments.

The geriatric GP definitely had the cognitive test with her; I informed the doctor that Mom had macular degeneration and hearing loss; but, the hearing aids corrected the hearing loss. In terms of vision, it had to be 20-point font or bigger for her to read it. So, Mom didn’t take cognitive test. The GP talked with her for 20-30 minutes. Made a referral to neurology and an MRI.

I saw one page of the cognitive test; if an MD is having you take this test, your brain is fucked up.

Underneath that tough guy, tough talk braggadocio he is a deeply insecure man, especially socially, and always has been. You can tell that it simply burns him up that all the nice people in NYC have never accepted him into their social circles, and that most of our nation's elites have always rejected him. It accounts for his constant lashing out at these people. In his first term there were a few times when CNN or the NY Times would say something nice about him, and there were stories about how thrilled he seemed that they had done so, and would brag to his aides about it. This is just another way of trying to impress other people (and maybe himself?) that he really is as smart and brilliant as he claims he is.

I didn’t think he’d ever play “Never Fight Uphill, me Boys* again. It doesn’t hold a candle to the original, though.

There would be a serious campaign to 25th a Democratic president, from a not insubstantial minority of DEMOCRATS, if that hypothetical President sounded like this in public.

""Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill" is a phrase inaccurately attributed to Confederate General Robert E. Lee by Donald Trump in April 2024 regarding the Battle of Gettysburg. Historically, there is no evidence Lee said this, and the informal phrasing is inconsistent with his background."
