He does this shit all the time - a supporter dies or like Kirk is killed, and after offering a whiff of sympathy he switches to talking about himself and something totally irrelevant to the topic but which is focused on him. He's literally incapable of feeling any sympathy or empathy for others, and yet his cult simply refuses to either see it or believe it. In their fantasy world he loves them and is suffering enormously on their behalf because of their mutual enemies. It's just appalling.

Little did we know that was just Trump's first salvo of the evening. He's become completely unhinged.

Ever since he deployed the National Guard as political pawns, Trump and his administration have been waiting on pins and needles for an event of this nature, and they are seizing the moment to stoke racial and ethnic resentment in this country and abroad.

And this particular rant is a reach. It wasn’t a disgruntled local ANTIFA member. It was a dude with CIA connections that they recently granted asylum to.

I wish people were smart enough to recognize the ridiculousness of his baying, but alas they are not.
