With fewer and fewer exceptions, our "news" media has shown in Trump 2.0 that they will not stand up to him or give him really tough questions as they do most other politicians, especially Democrats. Partly that's because more and more of our news media is owned by pro-Trump corporations and plutocrat billionaires like Bezos, and part of it is that even most non right-wing owned news media outlets are scared of Trump and won't confront him about all of the bullshit he spews.
