I know that most of us have become numb to all of the shit he's done, and compared to the lives and careers he and his administration are destroying it's a relatively small thing, but this is just so far beyond the pale that it may well become a symbol in the future of the sheer awfulness and unreal atmosphere of this entire administration. If any Democratic POTUS had done this there would have been immediate and widespread calls for immediate impeachment and removal from office, and yet our entire news media just shrugs and yawns.

And it begs the question - if we're already at this low point less than a year into his presidency, how in the hell are we as a nation supposed to survive another three full years with this incompetent, highly malevolent, flat-out authoritarian, self-destructive, clown show presidency? I don't see any way we get to 2028 without a major national disaster - a war, economic depression, declaration of martial law and rounding up of people (regular US citizens, not immigrants), or something else we haven't even thought of - at some point, because we're rapidly progressing in that direction after less than a year. I mean, it's painfully obvious now to anyone who's not in the cult or a message board bosider than Trump is simply insane and off his rocker, and that he's surrounded himself with some of the very worst people this country has to offer.
