Do you not see the difference between government agents and student protestors?
Do you have examples of ICE agents being doxed and their families being attacked?
The most prominent examples of doxing of government officials are from MAGA scum harassing and threatening judges and their families.

100% should be made illegal. Also, to the fake conservatives claiming this is about ICE safety, ie doxxing - bullshit. This is the Trump admin offering anonymity to agents in the guise of “safety” with the exact opposite hope, ie they want citizens to recoil, resist, and refuse compliance so they can crack down nationwide with unprecedented violence and intimidation, and subsequently manipulate elections. This is a tried and true autocratic playbook.
 
I have a weird take, but I thought ICE would be primarily caucasian guys that look like idaho proud boys. I'd honestly envisioned them as hot-headed, overreaching, abusive Steven Miller house-guests (racists). I don't want to derail this thread (cuz I don't think they should be wearing masks, at least without unis and some giant identification badges visible on their chests), but seeing a dark-skinned guy speaking very fluent spanish while playing the ICE role was a tiny bit surprising.

No, that's because
a) The stories of who they are targeting and how they are targeting are horrid.
b) it is hard to imagine any humane, self-respecting person doing b). It is easy to imagine a racist power-abuser doing it though. Maybe the pay is great.
c) And because I don't have much of a chamber at all, cuz i'm tuning out lots of news, so i haven't seen much footage.
 
No, they shouldn't be allowed to wear masks. They also shouldn't be allowed to kidnap people, especially immigrants that are here legally and have not broken any laws. This is disgusting. Also, with this behavior, how can people know for sure they are really ICE agents? What's keeping people from defending themselves and shooting at them when men in masks and driving vans try to grab someone?
 
Cops and protesters should not be allowed to wear masks, unless for valid medical reasons or unless engaging in undercover work. I’ll grant an exception to the DEA, because cartels don’t fuck around and would happily kill a cop’s family without a second thought.

Protesters are not getting paid by the public to protest. Cops are getting paid by the public to be cops.
