There are brutal performances and chokes and then there was that.Shocking result for Ilia Malinin.
He was good in the team and short. But the individual long is what separates the men from the boys, so to speak. Spend a whole life of preparation for four minutes on the ice. Brutal. There are brutal performances and chokes and then there was that.
Absolutely awful. Feel for the kid. Olympic pressure
One question is whether the rest of the world can catch up with him in the next four years. My prediction is that in four years competitors will have caught up to where he is today. The big question for me is where will Ilia Malinin be in four years? He is only 21. Hopefully he will get a shot at redemption in four years.

One approach is to limit the definition of "sport" to exclude events that require judging. They can still be included since people like them, but if we acknowledge they aren't a sport then the scoring hijinks become more understandable.

Well, the memes with words are certainly a lot easier. Not always. Also good if there's no reference. I never watched Brady Bunch so "sure, Jan" is hard to fathom except it has been used so often that I think (though am not sure) it's a way of calling bullshit. Here, it's just some dude saying Or Not with subtitles. Or maybe there's more to it than I think.
