two very nice finishes from him last night!

he's got 8 goals for undefeated coventry, sitting top of the championship. hopefully haji is a premier league player next season!
Unfortunately, he's 27 and in the championship. The championship is a good league but it's second tier. We can't even realistically compete if we're running out championship players and England is running out stars of La Liga and Premier League.

I'd be fine with Wright as an impact sub, but I have to think that there's a reason he's in the championship.

yeah, he's not gonna start. he's depth. balogun is the guy at striker.

still nice to see haji playing well and making huge contributions for a club that currently looks likely to be promoted to the premier league.

the championship isn't one of the big 5 but it is easily a top 10 league. better than MLS, for sure. opta ranks it 6th best in the world.

Also...moving to a mid-July to mid-May schedule beginning in 2027 with a mid-December to mid-February break.
Yes! I just saw that.

Honestly, some of the biggest MLS news since inception. That will actually help it grow legitimately, stop insane summer heat matches, and will help the NCAA be a better feeder in some ways

Ummm

Who is this USMNT??
While a terrific performance by us last night, the Uruguay keeper was WAY out of his league. He now has 2 caps including last night, both coming in friendlies since the 18 match CONMEBOL qualifying grind ended.

uruguay's starting lineup included talent from barcelona, man united, tottenham and napoli.

we blew them away in every phase, laying it all on the keeper is just not accurate.

Not laying it all on the keeper. And as I said in my first 8 words "What a terrific performance by us last night." But if you think Uruguay's number one keeper would have allowed all 5 of those goals last night then I think you're mistaken.

He may have been able to stop 1..at most 2 of them.

Maybe the defensive communication was bad as a result of the keeper? The US goals were mostly on good chances. Freeman's second goal would have been saved but it was deflected. Freeman's first goal was the only one that I saw where the keeper might have made a difference, as the goalie was flat footed. But he was going to cover his near post, as he should, so the header across to the far post would have been a tough save.

Love how much fight this team has. Poch has changed the culture, we were soft as baby poo under triple GGG.

I’m still not convinced by a lot of the MLS guys (Roldan, Berhalter, Arfsten, Miles, Luna and now Ream) but Freeman looks legit.
