My Spurs should go ok in the Championship next season.

What an absolute clusterfuck of management

i hope the attitude around the club is a bit more defiant, going down would be devastating.

obviously i'd get my laughs in as a gooner but i'd rather it not happen, wouldn't be good for the rivalry.

on current form, the only team that looks worse than you lot might be burnley but that can change quickly.

spence, udogie and maybe even kulusevski(?) back in the squad soon could be big.

spurs spending a bunch of energy and focus on UCL while in a relegation dogfight is kind of crazy. i think they definitely have a shot of getting past atletico.

that champions league shellacking yesterday should leave sp*rs free to focus on staying up in the prem.

i feel really, really bad for kinsky. hope he can come back from this. awful man management from tudor.

Have you ever seen a goalie have TWO fuckups that bad in a 10 minute stretch? And then the 3rd goal in there was due to a defender falling on his ass. Same thing happened to Barca at ATM just 2 weeks before.

But look I get we dont really care about the CL this year cause we aren't winning it...and avoiding relegation is the ONLY thing. But 1) does a goalie really need "rest?" and 2) how are you playing a dude for the first time in 10 months in an away match in the CL?????

Tudor is a clown.

yeah, i don't remotely understand the reasoning behind playing kinsky yesterday unless tudor legitimately thought the kid might dethrone vicario as #1 which seems unlikely.

the field at the metropolitano definitely sucks ass and is a huge advantage to atletico because they're used to it.

I didn’t know there were two of us here. Been supporting Spurs for decades now.

This is as bleak a run as I have seen. We’ve been on a downward trajectory for eight years now, but the recruitment and management issues that were masked by having a few now-departed world class players are now evident. Conte warned us in 2022 that a shakeup (i.e. spending more on transfer fees and wages) was warranted, else we could find ourselves in the same quagmire as Everton, despite being on better financial footing. They’ve spent handily on transfer fees but cannot entice players of high enough quality given their self-imposed wage structure.

They’ve spent handily on bang-on average players (Solanke, Richardson, Gallagher, etc.) while neglecting obvious areas (left back, progressive passing midfielder) The squad needs major upgrading. The front office needs major overhaul (our sporting director damn near relegated Aston Villa before we brought him in). I don’t know where they go from here, but I can only hope they pick up a few wins from the remaining fixtures and reload while in the Premier League. Unfortunately, it looks like they will need some help from others (looking at Leeds in all likelihood as the most likely casualty) to avoid the drop. I don’t think they have the mettle to do it themselves.

Unfortunately, there are at least 3 of us here. The only silver lining for me is that I'm heading to London in April and this run is keeping ticket prices for the Brighton match at rock bottom prices.

It seems ludicrous to suggest after only 4 matches -- but they probably should let Tudor go. I have a hard time imagining he's the guy who will right this ship. So prolonging is only hurting the club long-term, despite the effects of throwing more gasoline on the fire once you let him go and start a new manager search. Painful to watch even from an ocean away.
