My dad went to Clemson in the early ‘50’s. When they went to Columbia for the South Carolina game they had to drive thru the downtown area. My mother remembered their fans standing on the sidewalk and shouting, “ Go to hell Tigers! Go to hell.” There was a lot of other things too. One year a few guys who were engineering majors built a bazooka. They went to the dairy farm and filled bags full of cow shit. When they got to Columbia they got their bazooka ready. They loaded it and waited for the first group of Gamecock fans who got on them. They pointed the gun at them and fired. There were South Carolina fans covered with cow shit all the way to the stadium. It would be funny to see those MAGA assholes covered with cow shit.
