No sane person wants to keep criminal illegal immigrants here. It's just a question of where you draw the line for which crimes justify removal.

Those are related. People are thinking that maybe expedited removal isn't such a great idea if it's leading to grotesque violations of basic human rights, violations of due process rights of green card holders and citizens, and murder in the streets.

It boggles my mind that the Biden administration was unpopular. I understand why. The media was slanted and conservative media feeds their consumers drivel.

The reality was that the administration was the most successful legislative administration in my 47 years, and with a razor thin majority. They constantly drove through policies that focused on middle and lower class people and those people largely didn't seem to realize it. The media will be responsible for our country's demise.

Well it also killed the administration that POTUS was so old and frail that he couldn't present his own case and be convincing. Biden really was unfit to run for a 2nd term and likley was unfit for significant stretches of his final year in office. People were put off by his refusal to accept that and admit that the nation needed to move forward with youth.

Inflation is a presidency killer. It makes no difference that it was largely fixed by 2024 and that wages were outpacing prices. By that point, the opinions had been set. Inflation is what killed Jimmy Carter, too.

The average voter pays almost no attention to politics. But when everything starts costing a lot more all of sudden, they ALWAYS blame the president.

Aside from a handful of Bernie Bro-leaning leftists, I doubt anyone thinks Kash Patel’s BS is important. It won’t move votes.

Where it might move votes is if Democrats don’t get all frothy at the mouth and DEMAND impeachments. The leftists will again sit out the election to teach Democrats a lesson.

CNN has been doing them for years and by comparison it is somewhat telling. The people polled are predisposed to watch and are typically therefore predisposed toward the then president.
