I don't think there was any implication from the language you quoted that good feelings and music can fix everything, but I would agree that sentiment is a big schmaltzy. But I really don't see how "we need CBP and a secure border" is inconsistent with the language you quoted.

We're waiting...for the MAGA (no longer GOP) Congress to pass the Lankford Bill...

Stopping and processing, deporting, and redirecting illegal aliens is appropriate. However, that does not mean that T2.0 should have banned ALL asylum seekers and turned an untrained paramilitary group loose in America.

I think reasonable people don't want to keep serious criminal, non-citizens in the country.

Right. We need laws to define who is removed and we will all never agree.
Congress was ready to pass the Lankford legislation when Trump pulled the rug from out and under it...because he wanted to use brown people as a prop and to hide...

The Big Billionaire Bank robbery.

I was being cute. I get they are the same notes (ignoring key). If you asked me to play an Ebmb5 or an F#m6, I could do it. Had you asked me to play a D#ϕ7, I would have had to work it out or look it up. Now that I know they are the same tones, I can play inversions immediately. I play guitar.

Function? It would be a II chord.
We are of a mind. But…
Sorry if I took the cute response as being a smartass.
Especially about the B# vs C bit.
Not a good look for a musician.

B# cannot be the same note as a C. That would imply that Homer Simpson was in a barbershop quartet called the Cs, aka the Celtics. He was not. It was the B#s, OKAY?

What made the music bad, in your opinion?
The best part about it was a <1 minute stretch of strings and then Gaga’s Die With a Smile and the song that followed it because there was brass. I’m looking for positives. Other than those? Any music that relies that heavily on electronic production and synths, like almost all pop/trap/hip-hop, is always going to be ugh. Programmed drums, digital finishing. Nine Inch Nails and a handful of industrial BM bands have done it right, but of course there's more instrumentation.

Am I really getting put on ignore by posters and called racist because I didn’t like the Super Bowl halftime show?

Lee Brice performed a new song called “Country Nowadays” at the TPUSA halftime show that starts with the lyrics “I just wanna catch my fish, drive my truck, drink my beer” and gets worse from there. I cannot overstate how dreadful it is, like a MadLibs country song by someone who hates country music.

I don’t enjoy Bad Bunny’s music but he’s absolutely out of these clowns’ league.

A dirt road
A cold beer
A blue jeans
A red pickup
A rural noun, simple adjective

No shoes
No shirt
No Jews
You didn't hear that
Sort of a mental typo

The implication, which is often one of my complaints about some liberals, that good feelings and, in this case, music can fix everything. We need CBP and a secure border. We need ICE to remove people that we don't want here.
ICE has only existed since 2003.

We had 225+ years of our country without it.

We don't need ICE.

I’m not a fan of his music either, but c’mon, you have to admit that the theatrics, choreography, and overall production design were top-notch.

They were. The choreography was great. Some of the cameras had to be on drones, and there were no glitches. The cameras followed him perfectly throughout the set. The energy was good. The dancing was fine. The production was excellent, especially considering the limited time they have to set it up.

Halftime shows for a long time have been more about show/production than the music itself.
