That’s pretty cool. I can see how kids would like it. I get going house to house is traditional but in the end it’s all about costumes and candy

I'd say it's not as cool as going to a neighborhood where a bunch of houses are giving out candy, but it's better than having to drive miles between houses where you end up only getting to go to 5-10 houses.

The really determined kids (or parents) hit up 2 or 3 trunk or treats on Halloween night and end up with a whole bunch of candy.

Meh, more power to them. There is plenty of counter programming already.

It will be interesting to see if this creates a dynamic that drive more people to watch the NFL one or the TPUSA one than watch the actual game. But it could have the upside of ending the NFL halftime show in the long run so they can spare us the extra long halftime and mini concert hullabaloo in the future.
