I think new England overachieved this season and got exposed in the super bowl - be interesting to see how they do next season with harder schedule
Yeah, they definitely need upgrades at WR/OL and probably along the DL as well.

New England and Chicago this season kinda reminded me of Washington last season - Washington overachieved last season and crashed hard this season - in part due to a ton of injuries and a harder schedule - have to see what happens next season with new England and Chicago

I think Drake Maye just got sacked again at breakfast. They really need to bolster that OL.

With 6 minutes left in the game against Seattle, Carolina was within a touchdown. Maybe the AFC just wasn't that good this year (of course, NE killed the Panthers early in the season...)

This reminded me of the Tampa win. By then Brady was good but no longer great and they won by dominating with the front 4 and a seemingly superior scheme. Also hand it the Seattle kicker and punter - I don't recall better big game punting.

I don’t like using injuries as an excuse but I think Drake’s shoulder was clearly bothering him. Even when you take Seattle’s pressure into account his throws were weak/off target, and mechanically it looked like he was almost pushing the ball from his chest.

Brady was still great.

One of my buddies said Kraft and Belechek (mainly his son) are on bad terms right now. He won't let them come to the practice field, for example. I understand internecine squabbling, but would've preferred at least the appearance of a unified front on a stage like this. Poor judgement call and missed opportunity in not connecting UNC with NE fans, but evidently the NE brain trust didn't see it that way (or just didn't care)...
